    Your Data Rights

    Under various data protection laws (GDPR, UK-GDPR, Swiss FADP, CCPA/CPRA), you have specific rights regarding your personal data:

    1. Right to Access

    You have the right to request a copy of all personal data we hold about you. This includes:

    • Your profile information
    • Assessment responses and results
    • Communication history
    • Usage data and logs

    Submit a request via our contact form with "Data Access Request" in the subject line.

    Within 30 days (may be extended to 60 days for complex requests)

    2. Right to Rectification

    You can request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data. Most data can be updated directly in your account settings.

    3. Right to Erasure ("Right to be Forgotten")

    You may request deletion of your personal data. Upon verification, we will:

    • Delete your account and profile information
    • Remove all assessment data and responses
    • Erase communication records
    • Anonymize any data required for legal compliance

    Warning: This action is irreversible. All your data and assessment results will be permanently deleted.

    You can delete your account yourself directly from your dashboard. Alternatively, you can submit a request via our contact form with "Account Deletion Request" in the subject line.

    4. Right to Data Portability

    You can receive your data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format (JSON or CSV) to transfer to another service.

    5. Right to Restrict Processing

    You may request that we limit how we use your data under certain circumstances, such as while we verify the accuracy of your data.

    6. Right to Object

    You have the right to object to processing of your personal data for:

    • Direct marketing purposes (opt-out available in all communications)
    • Processing based on legitimate interests
    • Scientific or historical research

    7. Right to Withdraw Consent

    Where we process your data based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time. This will not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

    California Privacy Rights (CPRA/CCPA)

    If you are a California resident, you have additional rights:

    • Right to know what personal information is collected, used, shared, or sold
    • Right to delete personal information
    • Right to opt-out of the sale or sharing of personal information
    • Right to correct inaccurate information
    • Right to limit use of sensitive personal information
    • Right to non-discrimination for exercising your rights

    Verification Process

    To protect your privacy, we must verify your identity before fulfilling data rights requests. We may ask for:

    • Email address associated with your account
    • Additional identifying information
    • Proof of identity (for sensitive requests)

    Exceptions and Limitations

    We may be unable to fulfill certain requests if:

    • We cannot verify your identity
    • The request is manifestly unfounded or excessive
    • Disclosure would adversely affect others' rights
    • We are legally required to retain the data
    • The data is necessary for legal claims or compliance

    If you believe we have not adequately addressed your data rights, you may file a complaint with:
